Puneet Rajkumar-Radhika Pandit Campaign For RTE
Power star Puneet Rajkumar and Kannada actress Radhika Pandit, who were paired up in the movie Hudugaru, will shortly be seen together in a social awareness program.
According to the sources, 'Sarva Shiksha Abhiyaan,' which creates awareness about the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education (RTE) act, has not reached all the corners of the state. So, the Karnataka State Education Department has decided to launch a campaign consisting of videos and print ads, featuring Puneet and Radhika.
Talking to a leading daily, the actor who was dressed up in Khadi Kurtha, for the shooting of the ad, said, "We want to raise awareness about the Act and hope that this campaign will help to increase the enrolments in schools."
Puneet also said that he needs to learn a lot about the act, and thanked Education department for giving him this opportunity. The shooting was held at the Kuvempu Centenary Model Government Primary school, Ullal Upanagar, Bangalore.
"Through the film I want to spread a message and urge parents to immediately enrol their children to the neighbourhood school," Puneet added. The actor is also the brand ambassador of Karnataka Milk Federation's (KMF) product Nandini Milk.

Director Of The Ad Said
The ad director Maya Chandra said, "The videos have been set in a natural environment and the script has been written in simple and colloquial language to ensure that the message of free and compulsory education reaches people of every language and culture."

Apart from the government programme, Puneet is also seen in the commercial ads like Manapuram gold. He is seen in the print ads with the famous South stars like Vikram, Victory Venktesh, Mohanlal and Bollywood star Akshay Kumar.

Puneet is the brand ambassador of the famous jewellery Store, Malabar Golds and Diamonds. He was seen with Tamil superstar Surya Sivakumar and Telugu superstar NTR Junior.
Election Commission
Appu was also seen in the Print ads of Election commission during the Karnataka State assembly election, which was held in May 2013.

The actor was praised by media and fans as he did not take any remuneration for the ads that create social awareness.
