Puneet Rajkumar's next film finalised, Telugu director to helm the project

Puneet Rajkumar tasted moderate success in his last three movies - Paramathma, Anna Bond and Yaare Koogadali. The Power Star, who has been a Box Office King in Sandalwood, seemed like lost his track, as those movies did not live up to the expectations of the audience. It probably made the actor to take his own time before signing any film. Well, Puneet has finally given a nod to his next film and that will be directed by a Karnataka-born Telugu director.

Jayant C Paranji, who has worked with some of the big names in Telugu film industry like Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan, will be directing Puneet Rajkumar. He has confirmed the news to a leading daily and has claimed that the film will officially take off on the Power Star's birthday (March 17).

The director claims that the script was written a long ago and it is very close to him. Jayant further adds that he narrated the story and he was signed a few days after he first narrated the script. However, the film is likely to be entirely shot in foreign countries and as far as heroine is concerned, a new face will be cast opposite Puneet Rajkumar.

Jayant C Paranji, who says that his dreaming of working with the Raj family is coming true with this movie, will be starting the shooting in May.
