Rajkumar's Biography In British Library

Kannada ace actor and Karnataka's cultural icon Dr Rajkumar's personality will now be known to the International audience. The biography of the veteran actor, which is penned by his son, superstar Puneet Rajkumar will be displayed in British Library, London.

Recently, in an event journalist Dr Manjunath and his wife Dr Soumya Manjunath handed over the biography to Dr Cathrine Eagelton, who is the head of Asian and African studies in British Library, London.

The book has 52 years of Rajkumar's film career, and Punnet Rajkumar's view on his father. It also has the very rare images of the icon, with his family and friends. Apart from the social life of Rajanna, Appu (Punnet) has explained, how he use to be with his children and family members.

Rajkumar's fans are happy as this is coinciding with the Centenary Celebrations of Indian Cinema. The book was also introduced in Doordarshan famous quiz show, 'Tat anta heli'. Dr Rajkumar, who is called as 'Annavru' by his fans, had very rare personality.

Rajkumar, who made his on-screen debut with Bedara Kannappa in 1954, has acted in more than 200 films in Kannada. He also received Padma Bhushana and Dadha Saheb Palke award for his contribution to Sandalwood.
