Ravi Kale to play psychopathic rapist Umesh Reddy

After Dandupalya and Prem Adda, now yet another biopic is ready to be made in Sandalwood. Well, the film is on rapist and serial killer Umesh Reddy, and Ravi Kale, who has been part of a few films made on real-life stories, will be seen in the title role.

Ravi Kale has confirmed the news and said that it is a challenging role as people and media are well-aware of him. It has to be noted that the actor was earlier seen in the role of Sivarasam, the assassin of late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, in Cyanide and Hanuma in last year release Dandupalya.

Sex maniac and murderer Umesh Reddy alias BA Umesh, also known as 'Jack the Ripper', who was convicted in the gruesome rape and murder of a widow in Bangalore, 14 years ago, and several other cases, was sentenced the death penalty by the High Court in 2011.
