has
geared
up
to
produce
a
Hindi
movie.
The
producer
has
joined
hands
with
director
Rohit
Shetty
of
Chennai
Express
fame,
for
the
Hindi
remake
of
Tamil
hit
Soodhu
Kaavum.
Venkatesh,
who
owns
the
remake
rights
of
the
movie
Soodhu
Kaavum,
will
be
jointly
producing
the
Hindi
movie
under
his
home
banner
Rockline
Productions
and
Rohit
Shetty
Productions.
Speaking
to
a
leading
daily,
Rockline
Venkatesh
said,
"Mr
Rohit
Shetty
was
also
interested
in
remaking
the
film
in
Hindi
and
I
offered
to
join.
The
film
is
being
made
jointly
by
Rohit
Shetty
Productions,
Rockline
Entertainment
Private
Limited
and
A
&
P
Productions."
It
is
said
that
Rohit
Shetty
loved
the
story
of
Soodhu
Kaavaum.
When
he
got
to
know
that
the
remake
rights
is
owned
by
Rockline
Venkatesh,
he
personally
contacted
him
and
said
that
he
will
join
hands
in
the
production
and
also
direct
the
movie.
Recently,
Kannada
filmmaker
Yogaraj
Bhat
and
producer
B
Suresha
had
also
announced
their
Hindi
project,
which
will
feature
Prakash
Raj
in
the
pivotal
role.
Rockline
also
said
that
he
is
also
planning
to
do
the
film
in
Kannada.
He
quoted,
"I
am
elated,
as
this
is
the
first
Bollywood
film
being
made
under
our
banner.
Once
casting
is
over,
shooting
will
commence,
I
am
also
planning
to
do
the
same
film
in
Kannada."
