Sai
Kumar,
who
has
contested
last
assembly
elections
on
a
BJP
ticket,
seems
to
be
ready
to
bid
goodbye
to
the
party,
which
honoured
him
with
Karnataka
Rajotsava
Award.
The
actor-turned-politician
met
former
minister
Janardhan
Reddy
at
Chanchalguda
jail
on
Tuesday
(January
29)
to
discuss
about
his
future
plans.
According
to
reports,
Sai
Kumar
has
told
the
tainted
minister
that
he
was
willing
to
leave
the
BJP
and
join
the
BSR
Congress
headed
by
Janardhan
Reddy's
friend
and
former
minister
B
Sriramulu.
In
fact,
the
actor
has
told
a
section
of
media
that
he
would
be
contesting
next
elections
from
the
Bagepally
constituency.
It
has
to
be
noted
that
Sai
Kumar
actively
participated
and
organised
the
Hampi
Utsav
when
Janardhan
Reddy
was
Tourism
Minister.
Well,
he
is
the
latest
cine
star
after
actress
Rakshita
and
director-actor
Prem
to
join
the
BSR
Congress.
However,
the
actor
had
lost
the
last
election
to
his
rival
by
a
close
margin.
Meanwhile,
Sai
Kumar,
who
tasted
huge
success
in
Upendra
starrer's
recent
film
Kalpana,
is
busy
with
his
upcoming
film
Angulimala
directed
by
Baragauru
Ramachandrappa.
