Director Prem is known for making big claims in Kannada film industry. He is also one filmmaker, who knows how to market himself and his products. No wonder that his movies create a huge hype because of these reasons.
Bollywood actresses like Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor and many top stars are his hot favourites as he often claims that he approached them for his films and they were yet to give their consent. Whether they approve or deny will not be a matter of debate, but the news of him approaching the Bollywood names garners a huge attention.
Taking inspiration from Prem, many followed the trend of making big claims. However, now the director-turned-actor is in the news for similar reasons again.

Why He Rejected?
Speaking to a Kannada daily, Prem said that big names from Bollywood and Tamil films had approached him before. But the language issues made him not to take up the project.
Language Barriers
When the interviewer asked, whether Prem would follow the footsteps of Yogaraj Bhat, who is entering Bollywood soon, Prem reacted, "Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt and Sunny Deol had offered him to enter Bollywood earlier. But for me language is important. If you are fluent in the language, your job will be easy."
A Project With Rajinikanth
He claims, "After the release of Jogi, Rajinikanth had also asked me to come up with a story. We had also worked on the same for a month. But it did not happen for some reasons."
Did Vijay Approach Him?
He concludes, "Later, Illayathalapathy Vijay had also asked me to direct a film for him. But I didn't take up. Before moving to other industries, I want to prove myself here."
Is It A Publicity Stunt?
However, industry insiders have refused to react on the claims. But people in social media claimed that it was just a publicity stunt.
Rajinikanth Praised Jogi
On the other end, industry trackers admitted that Prem had a chance to work with Rajinikanth when his Jogi became a big hit. The Tamil superstar had watched the movie at a special screening in Bangalore and had praised the director.
Prem Delayed Plans
Well, Prem could not commit because he was not fluent in Tamil and he was not aware of the Tamil culture. Hence, he had delayed his plans.

Meanwhile, Prem is gearing up for the release of Dasavala. The film is directed by MS Ramesh and it has Raghu, Aishwarya Menon, Avinash, Shobaraj and Hema Chaudhary in the cast.
