Sandalwood mourns the death of Jiah Khan
The sudden demise of Bollywood actress Jiah Khan has left the entire film industry in mourning. Not only Bollywood, but celebrities from various film industries including Sandalwood have expressed their shock and condolences at the death.
The Britain-born actress was found hanging at her flat in Sagar Sangeet Building in the posh Juhu area of northwest Mumbai around midnight on Monday (June 3). Having made her Hindi film debut in 2007 opposite Amitabh Bachchan in the controversial Nishabd, she went on to feature in films like Aamir Khan's Ghajini and multi-starrer Housefull 2.
The early reports say that the actress was depressed because her career was going nowhere even after being part of two 100-crore-club films (Ghajini and Housefull 2). And also the actress' affair with an actor's son was on the rocks that made her resort to the extreme step. Nonetheless, it has been a big blow for the industry.
