shocked
the
Kannada
film
industry.
The
director
breathed
his
last
on
the
way
to
the
hospital
after
he
suffered
severe
heart
attack,
in
his
residence
on
Sunday,
November
3.
He
is
survived
by
his
actress-wife
Sumitra
and
daughters
Uma
and
Nakshatra.
After
hearing
the
news,
the
eminent
personalities
of
Sandalwood
rushed
to
the
director's
residence
and
payed
their
last
tribute.
Actors
like
Shivaraj
Kumar,
Ganesh,
Upendra,
Hema
Chowdary,
Doddanna,
Lakshman
were
seen
in
the
funeral.
Actors-turned
politicians
like
Ambareesh,
Jaggesh
and
Ramya
aka
Divya
Spandana
also
visited
Rajendra
Babu's
residence
and
payed
their
last
tribute
to
the
legend.
Rajendra
Babu,
who
made
his
debut
as
director
with
Jiddu
in
1983,
was
known
for
the
family
entertainer
movies.

The

likely

the

by
the
year
end.
