Sanjjanaa's sister Nikki to debut in Kannada films

South Indian actress Sanjjanaa's sister Nikki Galrani is ready to make her debut in Sandalwood. She has been signed to pair up opposite Chiranjeevi Sarja in forthcoming Kannada film Ajith.

Nikki Galrani has been busy with her modelling career. Taking inspiration from her sister, Sanjjanaa, she has decided to take up acting career. Director Mahesh Babu has confirmed the news to a leading daily and said that Nikki fits the bill as she poses the spunky look.

The director further adds that he has a history of tasting success with casting new faces like Aindrita Ray and Kriti Kharbanda. He is hopeful of repeating the same this time too and wishes to give a good launchpad for the debutant.

However, Ajith is a remake of Tamil hit film Paiyaa, which starred Karthi and Tamanna Bhatia. It will be directed by Mahesh Babu, who has replaced Purushotham of Modalasala fame for unknown reasons. It has to be noted that the duo had earlier worked together in Chiru. The shooting is expected to start soon.
