Shahrukh Khan's Chennai Express Fails To Halt Silk At Box Office

Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan had a great weekend in Karnataka. Especially, the Hindi movie made a wonderful business at Bangalore Box Office. Traders had expected the Bollywood flick to affect other films including Veena Malik's Kannada movie Silk Sakkath Hot. But luckily it did not impact any movie which has made everybody happy.

Veena Malik's Silk Sakakth Hot has been going through a lot of troubles after the release. There were several groups who objected the movie and protested at various parts of Karnataka. An organisation moved a court and tried to ban the Kannada movie. Nonetheless, the Sandalwood flick survived even after facing those troubles.

Last weekend, it was believed that Shahrukh Khan's much-anticipated Chennai Express to affect a lot of local movies. It was said that the Hindi movie would take away a lot of screens from Veena Malik's sensuous Silk Sakkath Hot. But as the Kannada movie had audience's blessing, it continued to rock at the Box Office.
