How Much Did Shivanna Donate For Uttarakhand Flood Victims?

There were reports recently that no Kannada actor had come forward to raise or donate fund for flood-ravaged Uttarakhand. Now, we have a confirmed news about an actor standing up for the cause. Yes, it is none other than Shivaraj Kumar.

Shivaraj Kumar met Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah recently and handed over the cheque to him. The Hat-trick Hero, who celebrated his birthday on July 12, had asked not to celebrate the birthday this year in various ways but to contribute the same amount for Uttarakhand flood victims.

His fans association, all across the state, collected the money for the cause. It collected around Rs 6 lakhs from its members and his fans. And personally, Shivaraj Kumar donated Rs 5 lakh. Well, a total of Rs 11 lakhs were given to the CM Relief Fund by the actor.

Producers Sa Ra Govind and KP Srikanth accompanied Shivaraj Kumar. Sources say that the CM thanked Shivaraj Kumar for generously donating for the flood victims.
