Shivanna's Bhajaranagi Satellite Rights Sold For Record Price

Hattrick hero Shivaraj Kumar aka Shivanna starrer Bhajarangi is making a huge buzz even before its release. Less than a week after the audio release, the satellite rights of the movie has been sold for the record price.

Apparently, the Kannada entertainment channel has bought the satellite rights of Bhajarangi for Rs 3.25 crores. It is reported that this is the highest amount ever for a Shivaraj Kumar film.

Jack Manju, producer of Bhajarangi, has confirmed the news to a leading daily. He said, "We signed the agreement a couple of days ago and I am happy that Bhajarangi has been sold at a good rate. This is an answer to those who thought that Shivaraj Kumar movies have no market. In fact, there were offers from a couple of other channels for a higher rate, but since we had already committed to one, we went ahead with it."

Bhajarangi is the first combination of director Harsha and Shivaraj Kumar. Apart from Shivanna, the movie also feature Aindrita Ray, Bullet Prakash, Urvashi, Sadhu Kokila, Honnavalli Krishna, Tabla Naani and others in the important roles. Continue reading the story on slides...
