Shruthi's second marriage in deep trouble
Shruthi's marriage life has been hit by a storm again as her second wedding, which happened on June 6, is in deep trouble. The actress had married journalist Chandrachuda Chakravarthi in Kollur, Udupi district.
The trouble started soon after Shruthi and Chandrachuda entered the wedlock. Manjula, the wife of journalist Chandrachud, came before media and said that her hubby has not sought divorce from her. Later, she approached a family court and filed a petition asking the court to declare her husband's second marriage null and void.
Manjula has claimed that without getting divorce from her, he has married actress Shruthi. She has accused her hubby of keeping her in dark about his second wedding. Meanwhile, Shruthi has expressed her shock over the developments and has said that she is very disappointment with her personal life hitting all time low.
Hubby Cheated Her
Shruthi has said that her hubby has cheated her. However, she will fight for Manjula and ensure that she gets justice. "Like me, she is also a woman and I understand her situation," she told a leading TV channel.
Shruthi, Once A Chairperson of KSWC
The yesteryear actress, who was once a chairperson of the Karnataka State Women and Child Welfare Commission, said that she trusted Chandrachud too much. Now that the matter is in the court, she doesn't like to talk much about the issue.
Chandrachud's 14 Year Marriage
Shruthi's husband Chandrachud married Manjula 14 years ago and they have a daughter named Chukki. However, the journalist was not in good terms with his first wife since a few years and was staying separately, but he had been visiting his daughter.
Shruthi Separated From S Mahender
On the other end, actress Shruthi, who had married director S Mahender earlier, ended their 13-year-old marriage in 2011. The ex-couple parted ways on mutual consent due to irreconcilable differences. They had filed for the divorce in early 2009. The court granted the custody of their only child to Shruthi.
