Kiccha Sudeep Don Khaki For Social Cause

Sandalwood superstar Kiccha Sudeep has donned khaki. Don't be surprised, the actor is not wearing police uniform, but he has donned auto driver's uniform for the social cause. Yes, Sudeep is roped in as a brand ambassador by Bangalore Traffic Police to create awareness on road safety.

Sudeep, who has supported several social causes, will be encouraging auto drivers to follow traffic rules and safety standards. The ad, which will see Sudeep in auto driver's uniform, was shot on Sunday.

It is reported that the Bangalore Traffic Police were sure that Sudeep's stardom will be useful in creating an awareness, and also it will be appealing to the auto-drivers in the city to follow traffic rules.

Speaking to a leading daily, a source from Police Department said, "The police want to use the popularity of the actor to streamline the standards of the over 50,000 auto rickshaws in Bangalore. From time to time, the city police have roped in popular celebrities from various fields including Dharmadikari Veerendra Hegde and Rahul Dravid as their brand ambassadors."

However, Kiccha Sudeep, who is a die hard fan of Auto Raja Shankar Nag, has played the role of auto rickshaw driver in Ranga SSLC. He had also said that the movie was the tribute to Shankranna.
