Sunil Kumar Desai Returns

Maverick director Sunil Kumar Desai is all set to return to direction again. After a gap of six years, the filmmaker is coming up with a movie titled Tandana Tandana, a name inspired by a folk song.

He was supposed to make his comeback with Saregamapa starring Prajwal Devaraj and Nakshatra. After having a few rounds of discussion, the project was dropped for the reason best known to him. Now, he has come up with a different script, which will mainly star seasoned actors.

Ramesh Aravind, Ananth Nag will be playing the lead roles along with Rangayana Raghu. He has penned the story, screenplay and dialogues for the movie. Popular musician Hamsalekha is likely to score the music for the movie.

Sunil Kumar Desai was the most sought after director in 90s. He had directed variety of films from romantic to suspense thrillers.

His acclaimed works are: Nishkarsha, Beladingala Baale, Nammura Mandara Hoove and Sparsha. His decline started after 2000 with mega-budget film Parva, which starred late Dr Vishnuvardhan, Prem and Roja in the leads.
