Kannada
film
industry
seems
to
be
getting
bigger
and
better
with
each
year
and
there
seems
to
be
a
lot
of
production
houses
from
other
languages
who
have
started
eyeing
the
Sandalwood
market.
The
first
among
them
is
Studio
Green,
the
production
house
owned
by
Tamil
actor
Surya
and
his
cousin
KE
Gnanavelraja.
Studio
Green
is
negotiating
a
deal
with
the
makers
of
Mynaa,
which
stars
Chetan
Kumar
and
Nithya
Menon.
If
things
go
as
planned,
it
would
start
its
activities
in
Kannada
film
industry
by
purchasing
the
film
directed
by
Nagashekhar
of
Sanju
Weds
Geetha
fame.
Gnanavelraja
has
confirmed
the
news
and
said
that
they
want
to
venture
into
Kannada
films.
The
producer-distributor
adds
that
he
wishes
to
make
good
films
in
Sandalwood
and
the
production
house
is
likely
to
enter
with
Mynaa.
They
have
already
seen
the
film
and
the
content
has
impressed
them.
However,
the
film,
which
was
supposed
to
be
made
in
multiple
languages,
might
not
happen
if
they
sell
the
film.
Mynaa
is
a
story
based
on
a
real-life
incident
and
it
has
to
be
noted
that
it
is
not
a
remake
of
Tamil
film
of
the
same
name.
The
film
has
an
interesting
cast
comprising
of
Sarath
Kumar,
Suhasini
Mani
Ratnam,
Suman
Ranganathan,
Malavika
Avinash,
Rangayana
Raghu,
Telugu
actor
Ajay
and
others.
