Vijay's Thalaivaa Set For Royal Welcome In Bangalore

We have often seen Tamil movies facing issues for its release in Tamil Nadu and getting a grand reception in its neighbouring state Karnataka. It seems like history is repeating here again. Much-hyped Tamil movie Thalaivaa starring Illayathalapathy Vijay is also likely to see the same fate in its own state, but getting ready for the royal welcome in the Kannada-speaking region.

Thalaivaa has landed in trouble over the release issue in the last minute. When people thought that the movie was hitting the screens without any controversy, the trouble came in the form of a bomb threat. A never-heard-before group named Oppressed Students' Revolutionary Union has threatened some of the theatres in Chennai of dire consequences if the movie is screened.

In a threatening letter, the organisation has claimed that one of the producers of Thalaivaa had cheated students of Tamil Nadu. Hence, it will not let the movie hit the screens in the state. It allegedly made a bomb threat leaving the theatres to cancel the advance booking. But police reportedly believed that to be a hoax.
