Uppi's directorial venture Upendra 2 delayed

Upendra had announced his next directorial venture on his last birthday (September 18) but did not reveal any detail about the project. The director-turned-actor has been telling that he has been penning the script and the film would take off in May, 2013. Even last month, the Real Star has repeated the same. But now he has changed his mind as he has decided to postpone the film.

According to reports, Upendra's directorial movie is delayed because the actor is not satisfied with his script. Hence, he has decided to rework on it as people have huge expectations from his movie and in the meantime he will resume his committed movies. The actor had given dates to Dandupalya director Srinivas Raju and he was in discussion with Ramesh Aravind for a possible remake of Telugu hit movie Kick.

Well, it was also revealed recently that Upendra has given a nod to work with R Chandru, who is basking in the success of his produced-directed Charminar. Interestingly, the Taj Mahal director has been rewarded to start the project before other films.

The forthcoming movie has been titled Brahma - The Leader. The film will start in May. It will be simultaneously made in Kannada and Telugu.
