I Know Uppi's Spiritual Side: Saloni Aswani

South actress Saloni Aswani, who is playing female lead opposite Superstar Upendra in Basavanna says that Uppi has thought her life lessons and she knows the spiritual side of Upendra. The actress was also paired opposite Upendra in Budhivantha and Dubai Babu.

Saloni, who was also seen in Shivaraj Kumar's Lakshmi and Sudeep starrer Mr Theertha said that she likes to credit her success to Uppi's movie Budhivantha. The actress also said that Budhivantha was the biggest success in her life.

Saloni said, "I made my acting debut in 2003, but I had my first big success with Budhivantha in 2008. So, it's only fair that I attribute my success to Sandalwood."

Talking about her relationship with Upendra, the actress said, "Upendra called me and asked if I could act in this film. He wanted bulk dates and since I was able to alter my dates to suit the film's schedule, I said yes. We also share a great comfort level since I've worked with him earlier. While everyone knows about his creative side, people don't know about his spiritual side. Our conversations went to another level and were about life lessons. I wouldn't call him my godfather; he's more like my 2 am friend in Sandalwood."
