It's well known that the actor-comedian Sharan is all set to do the remake of Tamil hit Varutha Padatha Valibar Sangam (VVS) in Kannada. The latest news from the Gandhinagara says that the movie is titled as Adyaksha.
Sharan, who is basking in the success of Rambo and Victory, is all set to score hattrick in Sandalwood with another comedy tonic. VVS, which was made in the budget of Rs 7 crore had grossed more than Rs 30 crores in the Box Office collection.
Gangadhar, who owns the remake rights of VVS will be producing the movie. He has earlier produced Jarasandha, Shourya and others. It is reported that Adyaksha will be directed by Nandha Kishore, who directed Sharan's previous hit Victory.
VVS is a full-fledged comedy and family entertainer, which deals with the story of careless youths, who are always involved in a tug of war with the senior citizens of the village. The movie had Sivakarthikeyan, Sri Divya, Sathyaraj in the lead roles, and directed by Ponram.
Apart from Sharan, Adyaksha will also feature Sadhu Kokila, Tabala Naani, Avinash, Ravi Shankar, Keerthi Raj, Girija Lokesh and others in the important roles. The search for the female lead is on. Meanwhile, Arjun Janya has already started working on the music.
