Countdown Begins For Veena Malik's Silk Sakkath Hot Release

Pakistani girl Veena Malik became a household name with Hindi reality show Bigg Boss. Her presence in the show earned a good name for herself among Indian audience. Using the opportunity, she decided to take a plunge into the Bollywood and made her debut in Gali Gali Mein Chor Hai where she did an item number.

Since then, Veena Malik has been trying hard to establish her presence all across India. This made her turn towards South film industries, which often prefers B-Town actresses. Her first step towards it came in the form of Silk Sakkath Maga, and in the process, she signed a few movies in other film industries.

When Veena Malik was signed for Silk Sakkath Hot, there were lot of uproar in Karnataka. Sri Rama Sene, a ring-wing Hindu group, raised objection for signing her for the Sandalwood movie. Muthalik staged a dharna in Mangalore, claiming that the makers of the film should consider his threat seriously as the Hindu group won't let the movie hit the screens.

He went on to criticise Veena Malik in strong words and accused her of having connections with terrorist groups. He claimed, "Many actresses from Pakistan were earlier in the news for having connections with terrorist organisation."

Muthalik had claimed that the makers of Silk Sakkath Hot did not verify her background and he expressed his surprise as he still did not understand why the Pakistani actress was signed when there was a good pool of talent in India and especially, in Karnataka.

Silk Sakkath Hot has bagged 'A' certificate from the Regional Censor Board. Veena Malik's dare bare scenes have made the board to give the afore-mentioned certificate.
