How Did Yash Tackle Rogue Elephant On Gajakesari Sets?

It's known fact that the makers of Sandalwood's forthcoming movie Gajakesari, has roped in an elephant to play the important role in the movie. The elephant named Arjuna, which was found in Vayanad forest, Kerala, will be playing an important role in the movie.

Arjuna is one of the biggest domesticated elephant in the country, and is said to be very mischievous by nature. Sensational Star Yash, who plays the lead role in Gajakesari, found very hard to tackle the elephant. But the script demands Yash and elephant Arjuna to be seen together in most of the scenes, and this left Yash with no other option.

Gajakesari director Krishna said that it was not easy task for the team to get adjusted with the Jumbo. He also said that when a stunt man tried to touch the thud of Arjuna, it threw him eight feet away.

He added, "I thought Arjuna was playing stunt. But he had really been thrown away by a simple touch. After this incident, many were scared to go anywhere near Arjuna. But the lead actor Yash had no option as he had most of the combination scenes. He learn't some commands and tricks from the mahout and became very friendly with Arjuna."

Apart from Yash, Gajakesari also features Amoolya, Sadhu Kokila, Shabaz Khan, Hyderabad Prabhakar, Chennai Johnny Vijay and others in the important roles.
