After Lingaa, It's Shivalinga In Sandalwood

After Rajinikanth's Tamil movie Lingaa, it's time for Shivalinga in Sandalwood. The latest news in Gandhinagara says that, Century Star has signed up a movie titled Shivalinga in which he will play a cop. Sangama fame actress Vedhika is playing the female lead opposite Shivanna in the movie.

Rajinikanth has already created huge waves through his recent release Lingaa. Thinking whether Shivarajkumar's Shivalinga is the remake of Rajinikanth's Lingaa? Definitely not, the close sources to the filmmakers have told that, Shivalinga is a period movie and Shivanna is playing a vigorous cop and he is the main highlight of the movie.

Shivalinga was recently launched by Powerstar Puneeth Rajkumar and Raghavendra Rajkumar in Kanteevara Studio. Shivanna aka Shivarajkumar who is well unknown for his 'rowdy' roles in his earlier movies will be seen playing a cop role. This has created more anticipation in Shivanna's fans.

Directed by P Vasu, the story includes more entertaining elements like action, romance and Shivarajkumar as a crowd pleaser.
