Ajay Rao To Romance Mayoori In Krishna Leela

Kannada actor Ajay Rao has roped in actress Mayoori of Ashwini Nakshatra fame to play female lead in Krishna Leela. The actor, who recently launched his home banner 'Sri Krishna Arts Creation' will be producing the movie.

Ajay launched his home banner and held the muhurtha of the movie on his 34th birthday, January 24. The event was graced by Power Star Puneet Rajkumar and director Shashank.

Krishna Leela will be directed by Shashank, who had earlier worked with the Ajay in Krishnan Love Story in 2010. The movie, which was based on the real life incidence, received rave reviews from critics and audience. Apart from Ajay, the movie had Radhika Pandit, Umashree, Achyuth Kumar, Sharan, Pradeep, Harsha, Chandra, Padmaja Rao and others in the significant roles.

Mayoori, who has become household name in Karnataka with her appearance in lead role in TV Soap Ashwini Nakshatra, will be making her Sandalwood debut with the movie. However, director Shashank had earlier cleared that Krishna Leela has nothing to do with his and Ajay's earlier movie, Krishnan Love Story. He had said, "Krishna Leela will be a different movie, which Kannada audience has never seen before. The movie will be mainly about sensitive issues."
