While
Darshan's
Ambareesha
opened
to
a
massive
response
in
Bengaluru
last
week,
Saif
Ali
Khan
starrer
Happy
Ending
got
a
lukewarm
response
from
the
audience.
The
movie
was
released
in
more
than
2500
theaters
all
over
the
country
and
still
did
not
manage
to
get
a
great
collection.
As
expected
by
the
film
traders,
Ambareesha
managed
to
trounce
Happy
Ending
in
the
Box
office
in
Bengaluru
circle.
Interestingly,
Happy
Ending
had
more
than
130
shows
on
the
first
two
days
in
Bengaluru,
which
is
more
than
what
Ambareesha
had
got.
Still
the
box
office
collection
were
almost
half
as
compared
to
the
Kannada
movie.
Ambareesha
managed
to
rake
in
almost
1.45
Crores
from
the
Bengaluru
circle
alone.
Traders
claims
that
while
Ambareesha
was
running
houseful
in
almost
all
theatres
including
multiplexes
like
PVR,
Happy
Ending
managed
to
get
just
20%
occupancy,
which
is
not
sufficient
to
any
amount.
Reports
suggest
that
Happy
Ending
managed
to
collect
over
5-6
crores
from
all
over
India,
whereas
Ambareesha
made
3
crores
on
the
first
day.
While
over
all
trade
for
Happy
Ending
might
be
bigger,
but
it
is
not
everyday
that
a
Kannada
movie
manages
to
steal
the
limelight
from
a
Bollywood
movie.
Ambareesha
is
going
great
guns
right
now
and
manged
to
cross
10
crores
in
just
3
days.
The
movie
is
expected
to
make
more
in
the
coming
days
and
break
Maanikya's
record
this
year.
