Bhajarangi,
the
blockbuster
hit
movie
starring
Dr.
Shivaraj
Kumar,
made
a
history
of
sorts
last
night.
The
Hindi
dubbed
version
of
the
movie
was
aired
on
UTV
Action
channel
on
August
3.
It
is
not
the
first
time
that
a
Kannada
movie
has
been
dubbed
into
Hindi.
Many
movies
have
previously
been
dubbed
in
Hindi
and
other
regional
languages.
However
the
Hindi
dubbed
version
has
been
premiered
before
the
original
Kannada
version
has
been
telecast
to
Kannada
viewers.
The
satellite
rights
of
the
movie
was
sold
for
a
record
price
of
Rs
3.25
crores.
This
is
said
to
be
the
highest
price
paid
for
any
Shivannamovie
till
date.
While
earlier
there
were
rumors
that
there
are
no
takers
of
the
movie,
the
record
price
given
for
the
satellite
rights
has
quelled
all
such
rumors.
A
Kannada
entertainment
channel
is
advertising
the
movie's
premiere.
However
the
telecast
of
Hindi
dubbed
version
before
the
Kannada
version
has
baffled
the
peopleof
the
Kannada
Film
Industry.
It
is
a
norm
to
telecast
the
Kannada
version
before
the
dubbed
version.
Was
the
dubbing
rights
sold
without
any
stipulation
for
telecast
date
is
the
question
here.
Whatever
be
the
reason,
the
Kannada
audience
will
be
disappointed
that
they
did
not
get
the
chance
to
see
the
movie
on
small
screen
before
the
Hindi
audience.
