Bipasha Basu Turns Down Sandalwood Offer!

Bollywood Dusky Beauty Bipasha Basu, who was all set to make her Kannada debut in Sandalwood's forthcoming movie Maamu Tea Angadi, has reportedly rejected the offer. The film, directed by Paramesh had made a huge buzz in and around Gandhinagara for roping in the Bollywood actress to play the cameo role in the movie.

Though the makers had offered a bomb for Bipasha as her remuneration part, the actress completely refused to make her appearance in Sandalwood. Sources from Gandhinagara have revealed that the makers of Maamu Tea Angadi had offered Rs 28 lakhs for Bipasha for which the actress has replied, "Tumhara offer nahi chahiye (I don't want your offer)."

Maamu Tea Angadi deals with the story of youth, who will be hanging out near a tea shop to spend their time. The director, who is giving chance for new faces, had aimed to bring in the 35-year-old Bollywood lass to play the lead role in the movie. It is said that Bipasha Basu was considered to be the main USP of the film, which has now been dropped as the actress has rejected the offer. Director Paramesh, who is giving chance for young talents, has roped in top stars of Kannada for the introduction song of the movie. Actors like Srinagara Kitty, Ajay Rao, Nenpirali Prem aka Prem Kumar and Yogesh aka Loose Madha Yogesh will be seen in the cameo role in the film.
