CCL 4 Finals: Karnataka Bulldozers Beat Kerala Strikers, Win CCL 4 Title

In the final match of Celebrity Cricket League (CCL 4), Karnataka Bulldozers representing Kannada film industry has won by 36 runs against Kerala Strikers. The team headed by Abhinaya Chakravarthy Kiccha Sudeep was also the champions of CCL 3. By beating Kerala Strikers in the final match, Karnataka Bulldozers has lifted CCL trophy for the second time.

Karnataka Bulldozers had given the target of 212 runs to Kerala Strikers. At the end of the second innings Kerala Strikers scored 175 runs in 20 overs with the loss of 8 wickets. Mollywood team had an initial shock by loosing back to back wickets of Kodiyeri, Rajeev Pillai, Manikuttan, Rakendu Kumar and Vijayachandran Arun.

Kerala Strikers, who had won the toss had elected to field first. By batting in the first innings Karnataka Bulldozers scored 211 runs with the loss of 2 wickets. With the back to back to victories and one thrilling tie against Chennai Rhinos, Karnataka Bulldozers have become the champions of the fourth edition of Celebrity Cricket League (CCL 4). By beating Mumbai Heroes and Bhojpuri Dabanggs in the semi-finals, Karnataka Bulldozers and Kerala Strikers respectively were qualified for the finals of CCL 4. Man of the Match award was felicitated to none other than Dhruv Sharma of Karnataka Bulldozers. He scored 56 runs from 41 balls with six boundaries. In bowling he gave 22 runs in 4 overs and took 3 wickets.

Karbon Kamal Catch

Karbon Kamal Catch has been felicitated to Karnataka Bulldozer's dashing opener Pradeep. His catch in Dhruv Sharma's over was responsible for the dismissal of Kerala Strikers Captain Rajeev Pillai. He was also responsible in the dismissal of Shafique Rehaman in Bhaskar's over.

Apart from Man of the Match Druv Sharma of Karnataka Bulldozers team was felicitated with the Power Player of the match award.

Arjun Nandakumar of Kerala Strikers was felicitated with Coolest Player Of The Match Award for his spectacular performance in the second innings. He scored 78 runs from 47 balls with 8 boundaries and 4 sixes.

Pradeep, dashing opener and show stealer of many CCL 4 matches was felicitated with Best Batsmen Of The Series Award.

Mumbai Heroes skipper Bobby Deol was felicitated with Best Bowler Of the Series Award in CCL 4.

Dhruv Sharma of Karnataka Bulldozers was the Man Of The Series in fourth edition of Celebrity Cricket League (CCL 4).

Rajeev’s Hero Of The Final Match

Rajeev of Karnataka Bulldozers was the hero of the final match of CCL 4. He created a new record in the history of CCL, by scoring fastest century. He scored 112 runs from 42 balls with 12 boundaries and 7 sixes.

Partnership Of Rajeev And Dhruv

Though Karnataka Bulldozers had an initial shock by loosing dashing opener Pradeep and Rahul's wicket, the second wicket partnership of Dhruv Sharma and Rajeeev gave a big relief for team. The duo scored 168 runs from 83 balls with 18 boundaries and 7 sixes.

Initial Shock For Kerala Strikers Too

Kerala Strikers also had an initial shock by loosing back to back wickets of Kodiyeri, Rajeev Pillai, Manikuttan, Rakendu Kumar and Vijayachandran Arun.

Partnership Of Nandakumar And Santosh Sleeba

The fifth wicket partnership of Nandakumar and Santosh Sleeba gave a hope of the victory for Kerala Team. Jointly the duo scored 108 runs 76 balls with 10 boundaries and 4 sixes.

Again it was Dhruv Sharma to show amazing performance in bowling for Karnataka Bulldozers. Dhruv gave a twist for the match by dismissing Nandakumar in 18th over. Apart from Dhruv, Mahesh, Pradeep, JK, Bhaskar and Sudheer also showed wonderful performance in bowling for Karnataka Bulldozers. Pradeep took 2 wickets, whereas Bhaskar and JK were successful in taking one wicket each.

For Kerala Strikers it was Suresh Nair and Vivek Gopan, who were successful in dismissing Pradeep and Rahul of Karnataka Bulldozers.
