CCL 4: Karnataka Bulldozers V/s Chennai Rhinos, First Innings Update

The eigth match of fourth edition of Celebrity Cricket League (CCL 4), which was held between Karnataka Bulldozers and Chennai Rhinos have completed its first innings. It was actor Vishal Krishna headed Chennai Rhinos decided to bat first after they won the toss.

In a 20 over match Chennai Rhinos scored 193 with the loss of 6 wickets. The opening partnership - Vishal and Vishnu scored 27 runs. Vishal was dismissed for 5 runs, and the second wicket partnership with Vishnu and Vikranth gave a big break for Chennai Rhinos. The Score card of Chennai Rhinos is as follows - Vishnu 48 from 23 balls; Vikranth 52 from 37 balls; Shanthanu 6 from 10 balls; Sharran 5 from 7 balls, and Privthi, who had scored 37 runs was still in the field.

In bowling Mahesh Bhaskar showed an excellent performance for Karnataka Bulldozers by taking two main wickets - Vikranth and Vishnu. Vishal and Sharran were dismissed by Dhruv and Mahesh respectively.

Karnataka Bulldozers has to score 194 runs from 20 overs (12o Balls) to win the match. The match was special for few reasons as many Kannada actors and actresses were seen in the fans stand. Actors like Aditya, Srinagara Kitty, Mayur Patel and actresses like Ragini Dwivedi, Amoolya, Mythreya were present with Suman Ranganath and Pranitha, who are the brand ambassadors for Karnataka Bulldozers.
