Controversial Guru Devishree To Make Film Debut

Devishree Guruji, who recently made news for the CCTV footage that showed his sexual acts with a women is in news again. This time the controversial saint and variously described as Godman from his disciples is all set to make his film debut. However the saint will not be playing lead role in the film, but he will be producing the movie under his home banner.

Devishree Guruji, who has named his home banner as 'Devishree Productions' has applied to get it registered under Karnataka Film Chamber Of Commerce (KFCC). It is reported that Devishree has payed Rs 50,000 to get the membership of the Chamber. The members of the film chambers have called for the meeting on June 2 and likely to permit Devishree to go ahead with his project.

"There is a huge dip in the number of mythological movies in Kannada these days. I like to do that type of movies, which gives strong social messages to society under my home banner Devishree production," says Devishree Guruji, who has named his upcoming movie as Kai Thuthu. The movie, which will be directed by Rajeev Krishna deals with the emotional attachment between mother and baby. Kannada's ace actress Sudharani has been roped into play the mother role.
