Simha
has
been
hospitalised
this
morning,
February
27.
The
actor,
who
is
suffering
from
Cancer
disease
has
been
admitted
to
Seva
Kshethra
hospital
in
Banashankari,
Bangalore.
CR
Simha
is
reportedly
suffering
from
prostate
cancer
for
which
he
is
under
medication
from
past
one
year.
The
actor
was
rushed
to
hospital
after
there
was
a
sudden
changes
in
the
health
condition.
Channapatana
Ramaswamya
Simha
was
well
known
by
stage
name
CR
Simha
in
the
theatre
field.
The
actor
started
his
career
with
the
drama
team
'Prabhat
Kalavidaru'.
In
1972,
he
started
his
own
drama
troupe
called
'Nataranga'
in
which
many
budding
talents
were
brought
into
limelight.
Beside
acting
in
more
than
150
films,
CR
Simha
has
also
directed
few
famous
movies
in
Kannada.
He
had
turned
director
for
the
movies
like
Samskara,
Sankalpa,
Chitegu
Shinte,
Kakana
Kote
and
Thugalak.
CR
Simha
is
also
the
elder
brother
of
Sandalwood's
ace
actor
turned
politician
Pranaya
Raja
Srinath.
Talking
about
his
brother's
health
condition,
Srinath
said
that
CR
Simha's
health
condition
is
critical.
However,
on
behalf
of
Government
of
Karnataka
minister
Roshan
Baig
has
revealed
that
State
government
will
bear
the
cost
of
the
treatment.
