Dr Rajkumar's Songs Not To Be Used In Election Campaign!

Geetha Shivaraj Kumar, the first person from Kannada's cultural icon Dr Rajkumar's family to enter politics, is facing the heat of the opposition parties. The wife of Kannada's superstar Centurion Star Shivaraj Kumar is reportedly using her father-in-law Dr Rajkumar's film songs for her election campaign following which the opposition parties have filed the written complaint to the Election Commission. The tracks, which have been crooned by Dr Rajkumar on Kannada and Karnataka, have been used by Geetha Shivaraj Kumar, the JDS contestant in Shimoga for her election campaigning. The party members of Shimoga's Block Congress have urged Election Commission to order not to use the movie songs by bringing it under Election's code of conduct.

The famous tracks like 'Naan iruvude nimagagi', Hutidare kannada naadali huttabeku', and few other patriotic songs, which were crooned by Annavru were used by Geetha Shivaraj Kumar in Shimoga for her Election campaigning. The opposition parties have claimed that Geetha Shivaraj Kumar is misusing her father-in-law Dr Rajkumar's name and fame for her political benefits, and fooling people. "We request Election Commission to put a break to all these political dramas, which is being done by using Dr Rajkumar's name," added the members of Geetha Shivaraj Kumar's opposition party.
