It's
common
for
Sandalwood
movie
makers
to
face
the
tough
competition
from
other
language
movies.
But
we
can
call
this
as
an
interesting
co-incidence
as
the
two
Kannada
movies
are
all
set
to
face
tough
competition
from
one
another.
Friday
March
7,
Gandhinagara
will
be
witnessing
the
clash
of
two
Sandalwood
Stars
-
Golden
Star
Ganesh
and
Handsome
Hunk
Chiranjeevi
Sarja.
As
Ganesh
and
Chiru's
movies
have
been
slated
to
hit
the
screens
on
March
7,
it
is
considered
to
be
a
biggest
clash
in
Bangalore
Box
Office
after
a
long
time.
Ganesh
starrer
Dil
Rangeela
and
Chiranjeevi
Sarja
starrer
Chandralekha
will
be
having
a
grand
release
across
the
state
on
the
same
day.
It
is
said
that
this
incidence
has
become
the
nightmare
for
the
distributors
of
Dil
Rangeela
and
Chandralekha
as
the
business
of
both
the
movies
are
likely
to
go
down.
Both
Ganesh
and
Chiru
have
kept
lot
of
hopes
on
these
two
movies.
Chandralekha,
which
is
touted
to
be
a
black
comedy,
is
the
remake
of
Telugu
hit
Prema
Katha
Chitram,
whereas
romantic
movie
Dil
Rangeela
is
the
original
movie.
Compared
to
Chiru's
Chandralekha,
Ganesh
starrer
Dil
Rangeela
has
acquired
the
maximum
number
of
screens
in
Karnataka.

Number
Of
Theatres
For
Both
Movies
If
Dil
Rangeela
has
acquired
125
screens,
Chandralekha
will
be
releasing
in
more
than
80
screens
across
the
state.
This
is
considered
as
the
biggest
release
for
both
the
actors.
Chandralekha
Release
Was
Announced
Long
Back
Talking
about
the
clash
of
two
big
movies,
Sridhar
Reddy,
producer
of
Chandralekha
said,
"We
have
announced
the
release
of
the
movie
one
month
before.
Knowingly
the
makers
of
Dil
Rangeela
have
slated
the
movie
to
release
on
March
7,
so
it
is
not
our
problem."
We
Have
Intended
To
Create
Star
War
In
Kannada
Sridhar
also
added
that
they
have
intended
to
create
star
war
in
Sandalwood
by
releasing
two
movie
of
Kannada
stars.
25%
Of
The
Collection
Will
Be
Affected
Jayanna,
distributor
of
Dil
Rangeela
said,
"By
releasing
two
star
movies,
25%
of
the
Box
Office
collection
will
be
affected."
Chiru
Is
My
Friend
However,
Ganesh
refused
to
talk
about
Star
War.
He
said,
"Chiru
is
a
very
good
friend
of
mine.
Ultimately,
it
is
the
audience,
who
will
decide
the
movies
faith.
So
we
need
not
worry
about
this."
