Crazy
Star
Ravichandran,
who
is
awaiting
the
release
of
Kannada
movie
Drishya
has
hailed
music
maestro
Ilayaraja
as
'Omkara
of
Music'.
Ilayaraja
has
composed
the
music
for
Ravichandran's
upcoming
movie
Drishya,
which
is
the
remake
of
Malayalam
hit
Drishyam.
Speaking
at
the
audio
launch
event
of
Drishya,
Crazy
Star
said
that
Ilayaraja's
music
will
be
his
all
time
favourite
drive
time
songs,
which
is
being
loved
by
all
the
age
group
of
audience.
"I
use
to
copy
Ilayaraja's
tunes
earlier.
How
we
write
the
word
'Om'
at
the
beginning
of
a
script,
Ilayaraja
sir
is
that
Om
word
for
the
world
of
music," said
Ravichandran,
who
is
bowled
over
by
Ilayaraja's
music
for
his
upcoming
movie
Drishya.
He
also
added,
"I
had
first
met
Ilayaraja
sir
with
my
father
producer
N
Veeraswamy.
I
was
not
even
an
actor
at
that
time.
I
was
totally
impressed
by
his
music,
but
faith
took
me
to
another
music
master
Hamsalekha.
Now
I
am
happy
because
finally,
I
got
an
opportunity
to
work
with
Ilayaraja
sir
with
Drishya.
I
like
to
give
all
the
credits
of
Drishya
to
Ilayaraja
sir
and
director
P
Vasu."
Apart
from
Ravichandran
Kannada
movie
Drishya
also
features
Navya
Nair,
Achyuth
Kumar,
Srinivas
Murthy
and
others
in
the
key
roles.
