Amidst His Busy Schedule Mohanlal To Act In Another Kannada Movie

Sandalwood is not new for the Malayalam icon Mohanlal. The actor, who was first seen in Kannada actor Aditya's debut Love is also awaiting the release of another bilingual movie Mythri with Power Star Puneet Rajkumar.

Even before the release of Mythri, Mohanlal is now all set to act in another Kannada movie, which is based on the real life incidence of 1991 Cauvery riot, which took in Bangalore. The movie, which is tentatively titled as Ooty will see Mohanlal playing the role of an estate owner.

The muhurtha of the movie Ooty was recently held in Bangalore on Monday, May 5. The movie launch, which was held in RT Nagar Sai Baba Temple was graced by the director and others technicians. "Mohanlal is very busy at this point of time. After listening to story line, he has expressed his desire to work on movie. It is came role, where he will be seen as the owner of the Tea estate in Ooty. We will wrap up the first shooting schedule of the movie in Ooty by next month and schedule the shooting dates according to Mohanlal's availability," informs director Mahesh Kumar Maurya, who also added that actor Kishore and director Giriraj will be seen in a special appearance in the film.
