Mungaru Male 2 To Be Directed By Shashank

A sequel of the blockbuster movie Mungaru Male will be made soon, according to reports. Its sequel Mungaru Male 2 will be directed by Shashank.

Mungaru Male, released in 2006 and directed by Yogaraj Bhat, broke box office records. It starred Ganesh and Pooja Gandhi, who became superstars overnight. It is still considered one of the greatest hits of the Kannada film industry. The songs of the movie are evergreen hits.

Shashank is currently busy with the post production of his movie Krishna Leela. After finishing that movie, he plans to start work on Mungaru Male 2.

The news about Mungaru Male 2 was confirmed by Shashank on his Facebook page. He has also confirmed that Golden Star Ganesh will be a part of Mungaru Male 2. The movie will be produced by J. Gangadhar under the banner of E.K. Pictures.

Shashank and J. Gangadhar had previously combined to make Moggina Manasu. Gangadhar has not produced any Kannada movie for a while and this will be his re-entry into the Kannada film industry. The shooting for the sequel will begin once Ganesh finishes his current movie commitments.
