Sources close to the makers said that Pooja Gandhi has taken Muthulakshmi character as very challenging role in her career. She has also decided to reduce her weight for Muthulakshmi's character in the movie, so that she can give justice for the role. Pooja Gandhi, who is awaiting the release of Abhinetri is all set to start the shooting for the movie Muthulakshmi from May 22.
