Power Completes 100 Days

The latest Kannada movie to join the 100 days club is Power***. The movie has Power Star Puneet Rajkumar in the lead role along with Tamil actress Trisha. Puneet has proved his mettle in the film industry by delivering highly successful movie over the past decade.

After the debacle of his movie Ninnindale, the pressure was on Puneet to deliver a hit movie. With the success of Power***, the actor has again re established himself as one of the Top actors in the Kannada film industry. Directed by K Mahadesh, the movie is a remake of the highly successful Telugu movie Dookudu. The movie was a debut for the popular Tamil actress Trisha Krishnan.

The movie has had managed to recover the production cost in just 1 week after the release. According to sources, Power*** has so far grossed over 50 crores in the box office and has become the first movie in Kannada Film industry to do so.

The movie is said to have grossed 60 crores so far, and with this, the movie has successfully overtaken Maanikya as the highest grosser of all time. The movie was produced by Ram Achitna, Anil Sunkara and Gopichand Achinta, who had produced the original movie in Telugu.
