Prem
aka
Nenapirali
Prem
has
apologised
Kannada
poet
Chandrashekar
Kambar
for
criticising
him
for
his
stand
on
dubbing
issue.
Earlier,
the
actor
had
alleged
that
Kambar
is
talking
as
a
businessman
and
he
should
feel
ashamed.
Chandrashekar
Kambar
had
said
that
dubbing
is
necessary
for
the
growth
of
Kannada
language,
and
it
will
be
very
helpful
for
the
rural
students
if
the
International
TV
programs
will
get
dubbed
into
Kannada.
He
had
also
said
that
Kannada
language
will
not
be
affected
by
dubbing.
Prem,
who
took
part
in
the
rally
organised
by
Sandalwood
stars
and
pro-Kannada
activists
opposing
dubbing
has
denied
criticising
Chandrashekar
Kambar.
He
said,
"I
have
lot
of
respect
towards
Chandrashekar
Kambar.
I
have
not
criticised
him.
Kambar
sir
is
unaware
of
dubbing,
all
he
is
talking
in
terms
of
International
programs,
I
have
to
clear
Kambar
that
those
are
the
voice
overs,
and
those
programs
are
not
dubbed.
If
Kambar
has
got
hurt
by
my
words,
I
will
sincerely
apologise
him."
Talking
in
the
discussion
organised
by
regional
news
channel,
Nenapirali
Prem
had
expressed
his
anger
against
Chandrashekar
Kambar.
He
had
said,
"Kambar
should
feel
ashamed
to
talk
like
that.
He
got
Gnanapeeta
award
for
his
work
in
Kannada.
He
should
have
respect
for
his
mother
tongue."
