Puneet Rajkumar, Trisha Krishnan In Adipathi (Dookudu Remake)

It's a known fact that Power Star Puneet Rajkumar and Kollywood Queen Trisha Krishnan is working on a Kannada remake of Telugu hit Dookudu. The flick, which went on floors with its working title Rajkumara has now been named as Adipathi. Sources close to film unit have revealed that the title Adipathi is finalised for the movie, which is likely to wrap up its shoot shortly. K Madesh, who is basking in the success of Challenging Star Darshan starrer Brindavana, is directing Adipathi. The remake movie is being produced by Ram Achanta, who had also produced original Telugu movie along with Gopichand Achanta and Anil Sunkara.

Dookudu had Tollywood Superstar Prince Mahesh Babu and Samantha in the lead roles. Puneet Rajkumar will be essaying Mahesh Babu's role in Adipathi, and Trisha will be stepping into Samantha's shoes. South actor Shivaji Prabhu will be playing Puneet's father in Adipathi, which was played by Prakash Raj in the original movie. The other lead actors of the movie are yet to be revealed by the makers.

Adipathi is reportedly in the final schedule of shooting, which is likely to hit silver screen in June 2014. Puneet Rajkumar will be working on Ranavikrama in May 2014.
