Confirmed: Rachita Ram To Romance Puneet Rajkumar In Ranavikrama

Sandalwood's ace producer Jayanna has finally cleared all the speculations behind the female lead of Kannada's forthcoming movie Ranavikrama. The film, which is the first combination of Power Star Puneet Rajkumar and director Pawan Wadeyar, had made a huge buzz for its female lead.

Earlier, Tamanna Bhatia's name were doing rounds in Gandhinagara for the female lead of Ranavikrama. Later it was multi-lingual actress Shruti Hassan's name, but now the makers have roped in Namma Bangalore girl Rachita Ram to pair opposite Puneet for one of the female leads of the movie.

Ranavikrama, which is touted to be an out and out action entertainer features Puneet Rajkumar in two different shades and in ever seen avatars. The makers are reportedly in need of two female leads for Power Star, for one of which Rachita is confirmed. However, the makers are likely to rope in Malayali beauty Parvathi Menon for the second female lead of the movie, which will be confirmed shortly. Puneet Rajkumar is playing cop for the first time in his career. Ranavikrama, which had its muhurtha on Puneet Rajkumar's birthday (March 17), is likely to start rolling in May 2014.
