Sandalwood Queen Ramya Loses Election: Returning To Acting?

Sandalwood Queen Ramya aka Divya Spandana, who was the Congress party contestant from Mandya Lok Sabha constituency has been defeated in Lok Sabha elections 2014. The actress has been defeated by Janata Dala (JDS) candidate CS Puttraju by the simple margin. Ramya was testing her luck for the second time in the same constituency. The actress was elected as the Member Of Parliament (MP) from Mandya in the previous Lok Sabha polls, which was held in August 2013. She has won in the elections with the handsome margin then.

After winning over the congress ticket, Ramya had given the hint of quiting cinema for politics. The actress was also seen in many political party function and and other public meetings. Ramya is said to be landed in the second place, by giving the neck to neck competition for the winning candidate CS Puttraju. Ramya's defeat has now become the topic of discussion in Gandhinagara, who are expecting the actress to make her comeback to Kannada films, as she has many number of movies in her kitty.
