Welcome Back Ambi: Rebel Star Ambareesh Returns

Here is the good news for Kannadigas who had wished for the speedy recovery of Karnataka Housing Minister and Rebel Star Ambareesh. The actor, who was admitted to Mount Elizabeth Hospital on March 1st, 2014, has returned from Malaysia this morning, April 11.

After getting discharged from Mount Elizabeth hospital, Ambareesh was taking complete bed rest in his friend's house in Singapore for few days. Recently, he had flied to Malaysia from where he took direct flight to Bangalore this morning.

Thousands of fans across the state has gathered near Kempegowda International Airport (KIAL) to welcome the Rebel Star to his motherland. The actor was accompanied by his actress wife Sumalatha Ambareesh, who was there with him from past 52 days.

Ambi, who turned emotional while addressing the press in KIAL, said, "I thank all my fans, who had prayed for my speedy recovery. I also thank God for blessing me and for giving me an opportunity to see my lovely motherland again in my life. As Sumalatha promised, she is successful in bringing me back alive to my state."

On February 28, Ambareesh was admitted to Vikram hospital in Bangalore after he suffered from breathing problem. The actor was suffering from respiratory problem due to lung infection for which he was shifted to Singapore for further treatment.
