Leading
actors,
directors,
producers
of
Sandalwood,
including
other
junior
artists
and
television
industry
has
announced
the
protest
against
the
dubbing
culture
in
Sandalwood,
today
(January
27).
The
eminent
personalities
of
Sandalwood,
who
addressed
the
press
at
Press
Club
on
January
26
had
announced
the
support
against
the
dubbing
issue.
Speaking
to
media,
Hattrick
hero
Shivaraj
Kumar
said,
"The
industry
is
united
as
far
as
this
issue
is
concerned
and
the
fact
that
so
many
of
us
have
come
together
to
stand
up
for
the
cause
is
proof
enough.
We
will
have
a
bandh
on
January
27
to
protest
the
dubbing
issue."
Crazy
star
Ravichandran,
who
raised
his
voice
with
Shivaraj
Kumar,
said,
"The
industry
has
opposed
films
in
other
languages
being
dubbed
into
Kannada
from
Dr
Rajkumar's
time.
We'll
follow
the
wishes
of
our
seniors
and
now
won't
allow
dubbing."
Karnataka
Film
Chamber
of
Commerce
(KFCC),
and
many
other
pro-Kannada
activist
groups
will
be
joining
the
protest.
The
rally,
which
will
start
from
Mysore
Bank
Circle
at
11
am
will
be
concluding
in
Central
College
Grounds
in
Palace
Road.
