Sharmiela Mandre To Act With G.V. Prakash

Kannada actress Sharmiela Mandre is going to act in her second Tamil movie soon. The actress did her Tamil debut in the movie Mirattal opposite to Vinay Rai and Prabhu. The actress will now work in a yet to be titled Tamil movie with composer turned actor G.V. Prakash.

The movie will launch by the end of November. Currently the actress is busy working on the movie Mumtaz. In this movie, she has been cast opposite to Dharma Keertiraj. The filming for the movie is almost complete and will move to post production stage soon.

Talking to a leading daily the actress said, "When the makers of the film, who have produced films like Soodhu Kavvum and Pizza, approached me, I knew that this was something I couldn't say no to, since their films are script-oriented and not based on the star value of actors."

The actress is quite upbeat about the upcoming movie. She added, "This is an urban story and I play this uber cool girl of today who is very modern in her thinking. The makers felt that it was something very close to my real-life personality, which is why they were keen on casting me."
