There seems to be no stopping for Box Office King Kiccha Sudeep as his recent offering Maanikya has got a grand opening across the state. The film, which is the remake of Telugu hit Mirchi was released on Thursday (May 1) and it is looting the Box Office.
As earlier reported Maanikya, which had reportedly collected approximately Rs 3 crore on its first day, has now joined the dignified benchmark of Sandalwood -10 crore club. After the successful packed houses theatrical run in the first week Maanikya has grossed Rs 13 crore. "The first week producers' share will be Rs 10 crore. Most of the screens we released in are on rental basis. It is on sharing basis only in multiplexes. So the gross collections will be in the region of around Rs 13 crore. Maanikya was released in the maximum number of screens and has had the maximum number of audience for a new release in the opening weekend ever," informs Yogish, who is also seen in the introduction song of Maanikya.
