Sudeep To Become An Army Officer

No, Sudeep is not joining the Indian Army. The actor will only be portraying the role of an Army Officer in a movie. Sudeep is currently busy shooting for his next movie which is a remake of Telugu hit Attarintiki Daredi and with the Television show Bigg Boss Kannada 2. However he has signed up for a new movie.

The movie titled as Hebbuli will be directed by Cinematographer S Krishna. He had debuted as a director with Gajakesari. His first film has become a blockbuster hit. The director of the movie said that he had the concept for the movie in his mind for a long time. After talking to Sudeep, he is finalizing a script for the movie. Sudeep will be seen playing the role of an Army Officer for the first time in his career.

Apart from the director and the actor, no other crew members for the movie has been decided. After the huge success of Gajakesari, S Krishna has be got many offers from producers to make a movie. Similarly Sudeep also has producers lined up to make his movie. The director says that once the script is finalized, they will decide on the producers.

While talking about the Title, the director said that he did not want an English title for his movie. He registered the title three months ago after talking to Sudeep. There has been movies in Kannada before with the word Hebbuli in the title. The director says that it will be a few more months before the movie shooting will commence.
