TN Seetharam Is Back With His Epic TV Soap Mayamruga

Sandalwood director TN Seetharam, who is predominately famous for his TV soaps is all set to bring back his epic TV serial on small screen again after many years. The popular tele serial Mayamruga, which was directed by Seetharam and most watched TV soap is all set to get relaunched shortly.

Popular Kannada entertainment channel Zee Kannada has taken the responsibility of airing the small screen's epic TV soap from March 10 at 6 pm. It is said that though Seetharam directed many serials in the span of 15 years, audience will still remember him for Mayamruga.

"The old timers, who had watched Mayamruga many years ago will definitely be interested in watching it again. It will also connect with young generation too," says the source. TN Seetharam had jointly done the serial with director P Sheshadri and Nagendra Shah, who says it is not possible for him to do it again if he gets a chance.

"We have viewers for the serial even after 15 years and that shows the serial's strength. I have directed many TV serials till now and Mayamruga is very special among them," says Seetharam, who is presently busy with his latest offering Mahaparva. The serial featured Dattatreya aka Dattanna, Lakshmi Chandrashekar, Avinash, Jayashree, Rekha, Natana Rajesh, Manju Bhashini, Malavika Avinash, Sethuram and others in the significant roles.
