Upendra's Shivam Trailer Released

Real Star Upendra's new movie Shivam is gearing up for a release soon. The theatrical trailer of the movie was released on YouTube by the film makers. Upendra's previous movies Brahma and Super Ranga have failed in the box office.

The stakes are high for the star to deliver a hit movie now. Shivam was previously titled as Basavanna. But the title courted controversy with the Lingayat Community, which protested against the usage of their spiritual leader's name for a movie.

Subsequently, the director removed the titled and declared that the symbol will be used as the title. With the KFCC not allowing the director with his strange move, the movie was titled as Shivam. Upendra's character will be Basavanna in the movie and no change has been made regarding that.

Upendra plays dual role in the movie. While one of the character is that of a high profile killer, the other one is a temple priest who picks up the weapon to deliver justice. The movie also has Ragini Dwivedi playing a very glamorous role along with Upendra.

A promo of the song Dham Dham Dhamaruga from the movie has also been released along with the trailer. Srinivas Raju is the director of the movie and the music has been composed by Manisharma. The supporting cast includes Ravishankar, Avinash, Bullet Prakash, Dodanna, Srinivas Murthy and others.
